I completed 24 weeks of sovaldi & ribavirin 4 months ago. My doctors have been a real disappointment leading me to believe this treatment had minimal to no side effects. I have not had the easiest experience, 4 months post tx I continue to feel terrible most of the time. I am not the same person I was before treatment and my friends and family can attest to this. I keep telling my doc that the meds definitely triggered things, I now have vision issues when if focus, my vision jumps and is blurrier, I keep getting this re-occurring sore throat flu like symptoms, fatigue is still bad, my memory is a mess, my personality has been deeply effected and I have this body/muscle jerking when I rest. I am certain I have neurological type side effects from this medication. I did have pretty bad fatigue before the treatment but no where near as often and as bad as it is now, on top of the other new issues.

On November 22, 2013, the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) issued a positive opinion on Gilead’s application for marketing authorization for Sovaldi. I completed the 12 week protocol for hepatitis C on June 19, 2014.
